As the Designer/Illustrator and Flash developer for eLearning Services, Scott provides leadership for the graphic design and development of online courses for Northern Illinois University and its continuing education partners. The focus of his position is to work closely with instructional designers, faculty, staff and external clients to provide design, graphics, animation, usability/functionality of presentations and advice in the development and support of quality online educational experiences and grant development. This includes maintaining expertise in technology-based learning solutions, such as animation, games, simulations, virtual environments, and a wide range of interactive media.
Expertise & Interests
Some of Scott’s other interests include drawing and painting, sculpting, video games, graphic novels, and history. Creating art has been a life-long obsession and starting in 1995, he began freelancing as a muralist for both the public and private sector. Each of these projects are customized for the client with subjects including, but not limited to; panoramic landscapes, children's themes, and cultural motifs. He also enjoys painting comissioned furniture and watching movies.
Games Scott is currently playing:
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3) : An RPG with some real depth, I'm a little fustrated right now because I'm in the middle of a long quest to cure vampirism...never take a nap in someone else's bed, you might get bit!
Civilization Revolution (PS3): Umm...fun.
Mafia Wars (PC): A mySpace game that is riddled with updates and bugs, but addictive none the less.
