Expertise & Interests
Claire has been a part of NIU in a variety of capacities for the last 5 years. She completed her Master’s in Instructional Technology while working as an office manager first in the MBA office and then at ETRA. She has had a lifelong interest in technology, teaching herself to use word processing programs and other office systems before Microsoft made them, and continues to explore new programs today. Her teaching experience is even more varied—from home schooling her two children, to teaching floral marketing at Kishwaukee College, to teaching software applications with her Instructional Technology degree.
When not working, Claire’s interests are also varied—she enjoys doing crafts, sewing, and creating floral designs. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two grown children.
