Esport Bootcamp
Dates: August 5th - August 9th, 2019.
Audience: The target audience for this boot camp is students entering grades 7 – 12.
Location: DeKalb, IllinoisNIU is proud to announce our first esports summer boot camp. Do you like to play video games? Have you watched other people play video games on sites like Twitch.tv? Find out more about how you can play video games competitively in college. Learn beginning and advanced techniques for streaming your own game play.
Discover how to use your video game skill to get into college and prepare for a career! With advice and coaching from our NIU Esports Club President and guest lecturers, you’ll advance your video game skills and be ready to put into practice what you learn in just one short week.

Time:10am to 4pm.
Lunch:Participants are asked to bring a lunch or they can purchase a lunch at Einstein Bagels on the lower level of Founders Library.
Program Fees:Cost for participation in this program is $250. We only have space for 20 participants, so early registration is recommended.
