Scripting Particle Systems in Unity
Description
Are you interested in video games, learning about scripting or computer programming? Have you ever wanted to develop your own video game? Learn the basics of how to script particle systems, using professional software by Unity. Chromebook and some computers will not be suitable for this camp.
Instruction will include a combination of live online interactions with NIU faculty and staff, along with recorded videos and downloadable step-by-step instruction.
In this workshop you will:
- Learn Unity design software
- Import assets into Unity
- Script particle systems like fire, rain, snow, and more
- Create objects with shapes
- Move through unity with first person controllers
- Learn the essentials of starting your first video game

Computer Hardware and Software Requirements: View this list of minimum requirements for attending.Location: This is an online workshop delivered by Northern Illinois University, Digital Convergence Lab. To access this workshop you will need a stable internet connection and a computer that meets the computer hardware and software requirements.
